“Zones de Productivités Concertées” is the title of a three-part series of 20 individual projects presented at Mac/Val on the general theme of Economy and it is the title I took for my own intervention in the series. I presented a selection of pictures taken by professional photographer Marc Domage, commissioned by the museum to document these exhibitions.
Photographs representing each of the twelve projects in the first two parts of the series were enlarged, framed, and exhibited in the part three as my contribution. On the mat board surrounding each of the twelve prints is the place and date of exhibition, the photographer’s name, the title of the work portrayed in the photograph, and the artist’s name. Taken just before and just after the opening of part three, photographs representing each of the eight projects exhibited were mounted on aluminum and presented on shelves. These eight photographs were therefore concurrently shown in the same exhibition space as the pieces that they document.
