In November 2008, Le Point du Jour opened an art center dedicated to photography. This is a catalog of its inaugural exhibition, which presented the work of all the artists who had done a residency in Cherbourg, commissioned by the city and organized by Le Point du Jour over the past few years. Since the work was formally and conceptually diverse, it seemed to make sense to bring the images together through strong typographical design. The design of this catalog takes up my design for Le Point du Jour's visual identity and adapts it to a big magazine format as we see with many high-quality photographic portfolios.
